About ‘St. Stevenskerkhof ’ by Emil Cobussen

At the beautiful courtyard at the foot of St Steven's Church in Nijmegen, time does not seem to exist. As if by a miracle, this unique part of the city centre remained intact during the bombings in World War II. The narrow streets full of old cobblestones, adorned with beautiful narrow town houses and protected by the shadow of the mighty Sint Stevenskerk seem almost to come to life on a foggy winter evening like this, giving a unique glimpse into the Nijmegen of days gone by.
