I took this picture on the Staverden estate near Ermelo. To make this photo I took 4 photos with different exposures, it became an HDR. After all, I wanted to have more contrast and detail in the photo. I chose to include only a small part of the house of Staverden in the photo. You can see in the moat the reflection of the house and the trees along the moat. The Staverden estate has mostly deciduous trees, the red tree on the HDR forto I believe is a Japanese maple. When I took the photos for this HDR it was spring with sunny moments. The main building of Staverden is not the original building but was built in the early 1900s which you can see by the architectural style.
