Dark still life with flowers in transparent bottles. The appreciation for the light and the dark come together. The ordinary (disposable) glass takes care of lifting the clematis and lilacs.

CELEBRATE THE ORDINARY
In 1986 I received my first SLR as a graduation gift. The past decades I have photographed at times, the last 10 years as compact and small as possible. This is how I discovered the still life. From the beginning of 2020 I will enter the next phase of my photography with a new system camera. The subjects are always close to home. The flowers from the garden, the dog and cats and the French landscape on our daily walks. I love to conjure up the ordinary things in the light. "Celebrate the ordinary," I call this.
