Countless storks along the IJssel. You can’t miss them. They nest there, raise their young and stride majestically along the bank, which, thanks to the fluctuating water levels, is a perfect source of food. In the morning sun, with mist over the water, you can see a nesting post with two adult birds and two chicks.

Landscapes in the early morning sun have my preference. The first light, the sound of birds or just the overwhelming silence. I try to reflect the peace in my photos, with beautiful soft light or a reflection in the water.
