About ‘Strandtentjes Katwijk aan Zee’ by Peter van Rijn

Strandtentjes in Katwijk aan Zee. Ik maakte deze foto omdat de strandschelpjes bij de tent opvallen. Dat zie je vaak bij de tentjes als het hard heeft gewaaid. De harde wind blaast de schelpjes van de waterkant weg naar het strand en door draaiwinden langs de tentjes onstaan dan een berg van schelpen. Dat geeft een mooi natuurverschijnsel. Omdat ik vlakbij strand, zee en duinen woon, maak ik graag landschapsfoto’s zoals deze. Weer of geen weer, tijdens mijn wandelingen gaat de camera mee op pad. Ook de lucht met wolken partijen is mooi om te zien. Tussen de blauwe luchten door geeft dit sfeer aan de blauwe daken van de tentjes. Het zand op de grond accentueert tussen licht en donker. Elke keer op strand, in de duinen en aan zee is het weer een nieuw avontuur. Niets blijft hetzelfde, iedere dag ziet het strand en de zee er weer anders uit.
En dat beeld wil ik graag vastleggen met mijn camera en u meenemen om met mij door de lens te kijken. Zodat u met mij van de schoonheid van de natuur kan genieten.

My name is Peter van Rijn, hearing-impaired with glaucoma and autism. Despite my limitations, photography is my hobby. As I live near the beach, sea and dunes, I like to take landscape photos. During my walks, the camera comes with me.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
