Atmospheric black-and-white street scene of an alley in Pienza, Italy, in the Tuscany region.
The town owes its name to Pope Pius II, who was born Enea Silvio Piccolomini. In fact, Pienza means 'city of Pius'.
The historic centre is an absolute must and thus worth a visit.
