About ‘Sugar forest or Protea’ by Minke Wagenaar
A multitude of Protea Flowers, without seeing the vase. Fluffy bulbs with pink tentacles and a light yellow heart. But which species is it? Also called sugarberry, the bunches of stamens do indeed look like cotton candy. Usually from South Africa, but these are from the flower shop at the Appeltjesmarkt in Amsterdam.
