Summer in Italy. A blue door, a green tree and white houses. In a square in southern Italy. In Puglia, in the pretty town of Monopoli. As it is almost 40 degrees, we stroll from the train station to the coast of Monopoli. The town has hundreds of white houses and you can wander its narrow streets. Looking for some shade, quickly cross a square. Or sit in a square enjoying the beauty of Monopoli. There is hardly anyone on the streets except tourists crazy enough to wander through Monopoli in the middle of the day. I love old towns like this where you can wander through and enjoy a nice cappuccino at a bar or on a terrace. Or where you can have a nice lunch under a parasol. I like the Italian life. Despite the many tourists and the scorching heat.
Diana and Ronnie like to travel to areas where few tourists come.
