Sunbeams in the Old Warande

by Zwoele Plaatjes

On a misty autumn morning in the Oude Warande forest in Tilburg, North Brabant, I was treated to a spectacular play of light. The sun was low and hidden behind a tree, creating a powerful silhouette. Sun harps made their way through the mist and fell between the trees, while the soft light subtly illuminated the green leaves in the foreground. The mix of dark and light created an intense contrast that gave the image an almost magical effect.

What particularly touched me was the stillness of that moment. The combination of the golden rays of the sun, the cool mist, and the fresh green of the leaves brought a sense of wonder. It felt like nature had created its own spotlight for a moment, and I was allowed to watch. This is a moment I could not let escape-the perfect interplay of light and shadow made this morning unforgettable.

Imagine how this work fills your space with warmth and the beauty of nature. Perfect for a living room, bedroom or office, where it will always be an eye-catcher.
