About ‘Sunrise in Iceland’ by Morwenna Everts Fotografie

Sunrise at half past two in the morning in the village of Bolungarvík, which is situated in the far north-west of Iceland in the Westfjords region, near Ísafjörður. It has a population of around 900; it is a small fishing village that has been permanently inhabited since 1890.
I spent three to four hours watching the sunset and sunrise; the colours on display were phenomenal. The sheer variety of shades of red, orange, yellow, pink, purple and blue, and the reflections on the buildings, were simply incredible!
It’s quite strange to think that the moment I captured here in this way, at this very moment, will never happen again with this light, this temperature, at the same time, and with the people I met who were also admiring the sunrise alongside me. This included tourists as well as locals from the village.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
