Irene Smeele just in front of an ice field during the ascent of the Aiguille du Chardonnet during sunrise. After a miserable stretch of bad ice, we reached the rocky ridge around 7.30pm where I took a nasty fall that resulted in a shoulder out of the comes and a helicopter ride down.
