About the artwork

This enchanting photograph captures the magic of a colourful sunset over the bay of Mytilini on the island of Lesbos. The sky is a vibrant canvas of pink, orange and red hues, with the last glow of the just-set sun lighting up the clouds in a spectacle of colours. The sky seems on fire as day turns to night.

Across the bay stands the majestic Greek Orthodox Church of Saint Therapon, whose striking dome and architecture tower over the surroundings like a symbol of peace and spirituality. The building is gently illuminated by the first street lights and the warm glow from the windows of the houses basking in the twilight, contributing to a sense of cosiness and security.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
