A sunset is always fascinating. Sometimes the sky is bright pink, other times just orange. And sometimes there is nothing at all.
At Oud-Zuilen just outside Utrecht are two windmills, which were used as pumping stations for draining the polder. It is only a very short bike ride from Utrecht north, actually quite a special place in between the city and the Utrecht ring road. And this is of course an ideal spot to watch the sunset.
This time, the sky was orange around the horizon, contrasting very strongly with the two windmills.
The position of the sails therefore says: short rest". So the mills are active, these mills can be visited every Saturday.
