The far western side of Terschelling is called the Noordsvaarder. The area was once used as a military training ground for aircraft. For several years now, after being cleared of (unexploded) ammunition, it has been freely accessible. A walhalla for hikers. This photo was taken on the south side of the area, the mudflat side, towards Vlieland. It was almost low tide during this sunset.
