I discovered this motif on the sunny island of Usedom on the evening beach, when the sun had already dipped below the horizon.
The contrasting colors of warm and cold had done it to me. The lonely lifeguard tower still stood out well against the last glow of the sky.
A tripod is essential for such motifs, because the exposure time was already quite long.
No other people were on the beach at this time and only the quiet lapping of the waves of the calm sea could be heard.
The few picture elements bring with the colors a spiritual calm.
