About the artwork

The photo shows an impressive sunset over the pile-dwelling museum in Unteruhldingen on Lake Constance. The historic wooden huts, built on stilts above the water, are the central motif of this composition. They form a striking silhouette against the softly glowing sky, whose warm colours range from deep orange to cool blue.
The lake lies completely calm, almost as smooth as glass, and reflects the scenery in almost perfect symmetry. The pile dwellings and the setting sun appear twice - once as reality, once as a mirror image. This play with reflections lends the picture an almost meditative calm.
The fine details of the wooden constructions stand out clearly against the sky. Not a ripple, not a breath of wind disturbs the stillness of the scene. The transition from day to night seems to stand still at this moment. The picture conveys an atmosphere of history, nature and peace - timeless and contemplative.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
