About "Sunset with palm trees in Sri Lanka"

About the artwork

This picture was taken on the beach in Trincomalee, on Sri Lanka's east coast. The image shows a number of palm trees rising up against a calm sky. The green leaves of the palms stand out against the light blue of the sky. There are no other elements in the image, so the focus is on the shape and structure of the trees. The trunks are thin and bend slightly in different directions, giving a playful rhythm to the image. Just between some leaves you can see the sun, just before it sets.

The colours are natural and soft. The green of the leaves and the blue of the sky combine to create a tropical atmosphere. The palm trees evoke the feeling of the coast and relaxed life in Sri Lanka. The simplicity of the image makes it powerful. The beach itself is not visible, but the setting is clear: a tropical coastline, where palms grow along the edge of the beach.

This photo fits within themes of nature, tropical landscape and coastal areas in Sri Lanka. Thanks to the calm image and lack of busy details, the photo exudes simplicity and calmness.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
