About ‘Sunset with reflection in water en clouded sky’ by Mark Koolen

During a walk around the Kwegt, a rather big pond in Nederweert (Netherlands), Limburg, the sky turned a beautiful orange-yellow during sunset. With the reflection of the setting sun in the water and the underside of the clouds still illuminated, this beautiful view was created by nature.

Fortunately, I (almost) always have my camera with me. The whole erea was so warm in color and intensity because of this view, even though the temperature was near freezing.

In these moments, I appreciate autumn even more. The sun seems to be sinking so low now and I find myself standing and watching until the last ray of light disappears behind the horizon.
