About ‘Swing towards freedom’ by Margot Korhonen

Seeing a swing almost always takes us straight back to our own childhood. Swing back and forth with your legs. A feeling of freedom when you feel the wind blowing through your hair. Daddy's, mommy's, grandpa's or grandma's hands in your back to give you a push.

Seeing my children enjoying this wooden swing was the inspiration for this work of art. It was a beautiful sunny day and the shadow of the swing made a nice impression on the lawn.

The playful blue color fits in every nursery and will be a real eye-catcher. Fun for the children, but also a nice memory of our own childhood. And be honest... Who wouldn't want to swing when we see one? Even as adults.

I've been drawing since I was a tot and have aspired to be an artist for at least as long. At 8 years old I 'knew' I was going to be a Graphic Artist and drive a Porsche (at least I got one of them right). In Dec 2016 I had a double mastectomy. The idea of such a massive surgery scared the life out of me and when I woke up afterwards one of the first things I said to myself was 'I want to do more with my art'... that was how my first mural was born…

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
