During a helicopter flight, I had the unique opportunity to capture Assen's famous TT Circuit from the air. The view was breathtaking: the circuit snaked through the landscape like a shiny ribbon, surrounded by green fields and forests. From this height, the circuit's perfect lines and curves were beautifully highlighted, and the scale of the entire complex was clearly visible. It was a bright day, and the sun made the asphalt shine, making the whole picture even more impressive.
I would love to have this picture hanging on my wall because it reminds me of the excitement and dynamism of motorsport, combined with the serene beauty of the Dutch landscape. Every time I look at this photo, I feel the adrenaline and speed embodied by the track, but also the tranquillity and overview offered by the aerial shot. It is more than an impressive image; it is a reminder of the connection between man, machine and nature. This photo brings a piece of that energy and calm into my home and inspires me daily to enjoy both speed and stillness.
