On an earlier day I had seen this little butterfly flying, for this photo I went looking for them 'early in the morning. This is when they are still cold and easy to photograph. It was a quest to find this little butterfly in the grass and a challenge for a nice composition. But I think I succeeded quite well.

Ronald Buitendijk started a few years ago with photographing animals he was looking for. With great pleasure he goes looking for wild animals to put them on film. Of course this is done in a way to disturb the animals as little as possible.
