About ‘Tawny owl in autumn’ by Jan-Willem Mantel

I finally managed to photograph a Tawny Owl in a beautiful autumn setting.
I regularly went to this forest to photograph the owl in the perfect conditions. I wanted beautiful yellow leaves and on the day itself I had to wait until after sunset before the owl showed itself properly with its eyes fully open. It was getting dark by now…
