At Tegallalang, the rice terraces stretch as far as the eye can see, creating a landscape that is emblematic of Bali. Under a threatening sky, the atmosphere is transformed: grey clouds accentuate the curves of the terraces and shadows play over the green fields. Despite the impression of an impending storm, the timeless beauty of the place remains intact. These rice fields, shaped by generations of farmers, bear witness to the balance between agricultural tradition and the environment. Even under heavy skies, Tegallalang remains an ode to human perseverance and the magnificence of nature.
