Tips for use
  • Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
  • Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
  • Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.
  • The artwork appears at its true size, so you cannot scale it in AR. Want a different size? Close AR and pick the size on the product page.
  • Still nothing? Open this page in Chrome or Safari. AR does not work in the browser of apps such as Instagram or Facebook.

About ‘Texel lighthouse from the beach’ by Maurice Hoogeboom

The Eierland lighthouse is located on the northernmost tip of the island of Texel. Six of the eight floors can be climbed daily from March to November and during the holidays. In winter, the tower is open on Wednesdays and weekends. The bright red tower is very photogenic and therefore frequently appears on pictures of Texel.
