Tips for use

Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.
The artwork appears at its true size, so you cannot scale it in AR. Want a different size? Close AR and pick the size on the product page.
Still nothing? Open this page in Chrome or Safari. AR does not work in the browser of apps such as Instagram or Facebook.

About ‘The Fluffy Newcomer’ by Duco Das

In this serene winter landscape, three penguins stand together on a soft snowfield, as if sharing a moment of tranquillity in the vast silence of their icy world. The penguin on the left spreads its flippers slightly, a subtle gesture that looks almost playful. The one in the middle stands bolt upright, with a calm, confident demeanour. On the right stands a fluffy chick, still in its downy juvenile plumage, which forms a striking contrast to the sleek feathers of the adult penguins. The soft, white background — a blend of mist and snow — emphasises the simplicity and purity of the moment.

This work is inspired by a fascination with animals that live in places where nature is still unspoilt and awe-inspiring. An encounter with penguins during a trip to Antarctica left a deep impression: their curiosity, their social behaviour and the unexpected warmth they radiate in a world of cold.

The atmosphere is cool and minimalist, yet the animals convey a gentle, friendly emotion. The image tells a story of connection, protection and finding one’s place. In an interior, this work brings tranquillity, space and a touch of playfulness — perfect for lovers of nature, travel and serene photography.

My photography focuses on landscapes and wildlife. I am particularly interested in the moments that are easily overlooked: changing light, unusual weather conditions or the behaviour of animals in their natural habitat.
I seek out images with a tranquil feel and a clear composition. Sometimes this is found in a vast landscape, and sometimes in a small detail or a brief encounter with an animal. The photographs in this collection have been selected because, for me, they…
