When you live in the north you quickly think of the Wadden Sea. Waiting for the right tide and hoping for a beautiful sunset always makes for a special scene. So too this evening in January of '23.
We have to get there early because the sun sets at 16:54. Next to me, several cars are waiting on the pier for tourists returning from Ameland.
And are they lucky that the evening is falling beautifully. The sun squeezes between the clouds for a while longer and out goes the light. Satisfied, we drive back home.
