This artwork was inspired by walks in Midden-Delfland, especially through the Vockestaert, a nature reserve between Delft and Schiedam. During these trips, I photographed various bird species, including the Goldfinch, the Bluethroat and my favourite bird, the Bearded Warbler. The latter served as the basis for this artwork.
The image combines a detailed shot of the Bearded Owl with an abstract, flowing background, created using MidJourney. The warm colour tones evoke the atmosphere of an early morning sunrise walk, while cooler tones refer to the crisp brightness of a winter day.
This harmonious combination of nature and abstraction makes the work versatile and suitable for different interior styles.
The elegant look of the Bearded Man combined with the dynamic background creates a visually appealing and soothing whole. This artwork acts as an eye-catcher and brings the peace and beauty of nature indoors.
"Brushstrokes of artistry, weaving dreams on the canvas of creation."
