About the artwork

Scaffolding in monochrome:
In the lower-left corner of the sculpture is a scaffolding, simple and rectilinear. It is composed of a series of wooden planks, but there is something reassuring and timeless about the whole. The jetty almost seems to float in the sculpture, like an arrowhead inviting one to look further, to think further. A staircase leads to the water, which in its absolute calmness is almost indistinguishable from the sky. Because of the long shutter speed, the water is flat, perfectly smooth, without wrinkles. The monochrome use of colour emphasises the calm and minimalist beauty of the composition. Everything in the image breathes silence, a serenity that is only enhanced by the simplicity of the frame. There are no distractions, no colour to grab your attention - just the shapes, the lines, and the calmness of nature stretching out before you. This image evokes a sense of stillness, like a moment of introspection. There is no movement here, just the idea of standing still and embracing the tranquillity offered by the landscape.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
