About "The Milkmaid with Rembrandt and sunbeams"

About the artwork

Two famous paintings, namely Johannes Vermeer's Milkmaid and Rembrandt van Rijn's Night Watch, are united in this work. To do this, the basis used was the painting of the Milkmaid which was made wider and higher. Not an easy job because the floor and the tiles above it did not allow for easy reproduction. Moreover, sunbeams were added. Art of old masters united by a contemporary master.

About the image-maker: as a born and bred Amsterdammer, Peter feels a close connection with the city of Amsterdam. Over the years, he has captured the city of Amsterdam in many iconic works.

In addition, he has now also earned his spurs as a digital artist, especially with adaptations of old masters (Vincent van Gogh, Johannes Vermeer and Rembrandt van Rijn) that he has given a modern twist and fit perfectly into modern interiors.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
