About ‘The Moon Shines Over the Canal’ by Mr White Takes Pictures
On a very warm day in April, a new moon shines above the Opal Coast in France during a beautiful conjunction. The photo was taken on the beach near the town of Ambleteuse with a tripod placed on the rocks scattered across the beach. The sun has not been down for long, giving the sky a beautiful blue colour.

I am Martijn Wit and I like to photograph nature in my neighbourhood, but I also love to capture the city and the night. I love the play of light in combination with the vintage lenses I use.
