About ‘The Old Canal Reflected’ by Mr White Takes Pictures
A familiar spot in the centre of Utrecht. View of the Maartensbrug looking across the Oude Gracht. You can see very well here that the buildings are no longer straight. It makes an interesting reflection. The water was nice and calm, showing off the reflection nicely. It was spring and you can already see the smaller tree in blossom.

I am Martijn Wit and I like to photograph nature in my neighbourhood, but I also love to capture the city and the night. I love the play of light in combination with the vintage lenses I use. I like doing macro and close-up photography, so I often lie on my stomach among the bushes. My focus is often on the tranquillity that, if you look closely, can be found everywhere.
