In the beautiful nature reserve of Sluftervallei on Texel, you enter a world of pristine beauty. Sluftervallei is a unique piece of the Netherlands where nature has free rein and the elements can take their course. The area consists of vast dunes, expansive plains, and winding channels that move with the tidal currents.

Upon arrival, you are greeted by the fresh sea air and the sound of seagulls circling above you. You follow the winding path that leads you deeper into the area. On both sides, the dunes covered in marram grass stretch out, serving as natural protection against the powerful sea.
