About the artwork

Baltic blue earth and amber time travel.

Semiprecious stone with possible inclusions.
Amber was an organic viscous substance compressed into a semi-precious stone by millions of years of high pressure. Best known for its transparent golden-brown colours and for inclusions of small insects and plant remains.

Jewellery from Scandinavia.
In a time travel of millions of years from viscous resin from coniferous trees to the beautiful transparent amber as jewellery. Taken as soil moraines by the Scandinavian glaciers during the penultimate ice age and ended up in present-day Europe.

Jewellery from the Baltic Blue Earth.
And still carried from the southern Baltic Sea from the metre-thick clay layer the "Baltic Blue Earth" by the cold wave currents. And find this jewel washed up on the coasts of Denmark and the wadden islands of the Netherlands.

Jewellery from Austria.
Here is a digital distortion of a glass jewellery from the glass city of Rattenberg in Austria. Represented as amber in motion in an impression of that time travel. Digital art and photography and the result of playing in the digital playground.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
