About "The Unity of Contrasts"

About the artwork

This collage looks at the idea of duality, which is the relationship between what is on the inside and what is on the outside and shapes us. The two heads of the woman represent the complex nature of identity, with each head facing in a different direction to show the tension and harmony within us. The overlapping section shows a busy city and a green natural landscape, which shows the difference between the fast-paced city and the quiet, relaxing presence of nature. Together, these elements create a sense of balance, which represents the connection between our own desires, emotions, and the world around us.
The man standing nearby looks at the joined heads with amazement, showing how we all feel about being one and changing. His amazement is similar to the feeling we get when we come face-to-face with the deep truths of our own existence. The piece makes us think about how we bring together the different parts of ourselves and celebrates how we can all exist together. It's a moment in time that is both very personal and also shared by everyone, showing the two sides of being human and how we are connected.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
