The Volmolen near Epen is a familiar spot in the Limburg hills.
When I was there, the mill was constantly moving and it was almost soothing to listen to the circulation of the water; the river itself (the Geul in south-eastern Limburg) was calm and you had to look twice to see the ripples in the water.
