The Crocus is a favourite of mine just like the Wood anemone. When they are in bloom, I can enjoy them for many hours and photograph them frequently.
At some point, the flowering starts to come to an end and I found that very fact reflected in this specimen in a beautiful way.
The flower is completely open as if to say "this is it, that's all I can make of it". I also find the drooping and leaning on a consort significant. It graciously indicates how fragile the flower is by now.
Don't just walk past everywhere in a hurry but take the time to discover and enjoy beauty.
