An exact picture of the original painting the large trees in Saint-Rémy by Vincent van Gogh from 1889.
I spent a lot of time creating this image in beautiful realistic fresh colours as I think Vincent van Gogh intended it to be.
The painting was made during Vincent van Gogh's time in Saint Rémy in Provence, France.
In May 1889, Vincent van Gogh volunteered for an asylum near the small town of Saint-Rémy in Provence. His doctors soon gave him permission to paint during day trips to the surrounding fields. As he walked through Saint-Rémy in November, he was impressed by the sight of men repairing a road under immense plane trees. In spite of the cold," he wrote to his brother Theo, "I have continued to work outdoors so far and I think it does me good and so does the work". He hurried to catch the yellowing leaves and painted this composition on an unusual rug with a pattern of small red diamonds visible in some unpainted parts of the painting.
This image is available in different sizes and on different materials.
