The black-bellied dipper is a rare sight in the Netherlands. This bird usually comes to our country in winter to hibernate. This little bird likes wild rivers or streams. the current has to be hard enough. They catch fish and other water creatures from the water. This specimen was at the Berkel near Zutphen.
