About "The calm after the storm"

About the artwork

On an early morning in May, an impressive panorama spreads out over Lake Hopfensee. The sun has just risen and bathes the western shore in a warm, golden light. Farms and green meadows awaken from the darkness of the night, while the last remnants of a night-time thunderstorm slowly dissipate over the hills. The heavy clouds move on as if they had finished their show for the day.
The lake lies calm and clear, almost as smooth as glass, reflecting the bright scenery on the shore. The fresh May air is pervaded by the scent of wet earth and young grass. Behind the peaceful picture lies the power of the Allgäu - gentle hills, vibrant nature and the feeling of vastness and tranquillity.
What makes this moment special is the balance between departure and farewell: the storm disappears, the light returns and everything seems to be in balance for a moment. A moment made to be captured - in the picture, in the memory, in the heart.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
