Gradually, the digital camera has become more and more commonplace and today almost everyone has a camera. Some a bit simpler the others in a professional version, but all have something. The camera has increasingly become part and parcel of our daily lives, of our world. Hardly anyone makes a copy anymore, instead a photograph is taken. In short, it is impossible to imagine our world without a camera and it has really grown together with our world. This artwork literally depicts that, as can be seen by the roots growing out of the camera and finding their way to the earth. History is also reflected in the form of the retro style. The colours used in this surreal, retro work are orange, brown, green, yellow and purple.
