A draftsman is sketching on a staircase in La Défense. The silhouettes of Paris. There are many works of art (around 60) in public spaces in La Défense. Besides Barrias' statue, there are dozens of sculptures and mosaics scattered throughout the area, by Alexander Calder, Joan Miró, Shlomo Selinger, François Morellet and Panayiotis Takis, among others.
