The Prince Bishop's Palace in Westphalian Münster is a residential palace for Münster's penultimate Prince Bishop Maximilian Friedrich von Königsegg-Rothenfels, built in the Baroque style between 1767 and 1787. The architect was Johann Conrad Schlaun. Since 1954 it has been the seat and landmark of the Westphalian Wilhelms University. The castle is built of the Baumberg sandstone typical of Münster.
