About ‘The cave of Dim’ by Maickel Dedeken

The Dim Cave is no less than 410 metres long. This makes it the second largest cave in Turkey that is open to the public. At the end of the cave lies this underground lake, which is enchantingly illuminated. Warm amber colours glide over ancient rock formations, stalactites hang like frozen drops from the ceiling, and the still water reflects the cave as if it were a secret mirror that only exists for the initiated.

The people on the footbridge seem small, almost humble, compared to the grandeur of nature. It gives the image a sense of scale, of wonder — as if you yourself were standing in that underground cathedral, where every stone whispers a story of thousands of years.
