The fantasy world of the Coneflower is the appropriate title for this work. It is the second part of a triptych. The Coneflower finds itself in a sunny fantasy world. This world is filled with swirls as if the flower lives underwater, which of course is not the case. The flower is in the lee of the plant, as evidenced by the branches behind it. There is a nice current in the water representing movement. Of course, the many splashes represent bubbles. It is not called "The fantasy world of the Coneflower" for nothing, so you may have very different ideas when seeing this surrealist work. A triptych, so there are two more works in the same style and colouring. Different and yet they fit together nicely. So suitable to decorate a room with, without it immediately becoming very busy. The colours used in this work are salmon, brown and cream, in several shades.
As an artist, I like to enter a colorful world especially the world of flowers. This colourful and so positive world appeals to me enormously. Flowers spread a positive atmosphere because of the colors and the beautiful and diverse shapes and one can never get enough of that!.. Read more…
