"The fluff and droplets fade and blend into the whole", is an (extreme) macro photo of a dandelion fluff that gets the emphasis, this fluff is attached to a ball of fluff, among many other fluff, but this one gets the attention.
This photo was taken with a more extreme macro lens than is normally used. This magnifies the subject even more and you start to see elements you had probably never seen before: "The wonderful world of extreme macro photography". For example, can you see the "little hooks" attached to the hairs of the lint? Because of this extreme magnification, a kind of abstraction also takes place. The depth of field is very shallow, (only a very small part of some fluffy hairs and droplets) this creates not only a dreamy atmosphere, but also a sense of depth in the work. The fluff hairs and droplets fade quickly, the further from the focus point the more they fade. This makes the fluff in the foreground almost seem to merge into the background in some places. The droplets also help to create this dreamy atmosphere, they reflect the light and surroundings and this creates sparkles and reflections in the droplets between and on the fluffy hairs.
