Girl in a goods train.

Poignant photograph of an unknown girl, lost and alone, between the doors of a goods train. She does not want to be seen. On transport to an unknown destination. Photo is part of an exhibition at the national monument camp Vught.
The photo of the girl almost disappears, merges into, becomes part of, the textures of peeling paint on a wooden bench and the shapes and lines of an abstract drug drawing in ecoline. The girl almost disappears, not quite, lest she be forgotten. Painfully sad and intimate, abstracted atmospheric image.
