About "The great escape from our existence on earth"

About the artwork

One day it will come! Who knows, probably not, but it will happen one day that we will leave our planet, the earth.

I have tried to depict this fairly ominous thought in this work.

In the background, in the night, flickering stars around which possibly habitable planets circle, so there is hope.
Our moon is unnaturally on the left and where you expect the moon you see on the horizon a huge red planet, it is Mars.
On the right you see Saturn and this one also in an unrealistic place and size.

We the humans, escape via boats hanging from hot air balloons to an unknown place. The seagulls on the right follow us, symbolic of the animals.

Freedom, of thought and action, almost no longer exists. In the foreground you can see the Statue of Liberty already disappearing half under water.

Of course, this is so unrealistic but it prompts one to think about the future for a moment.

Rest assured, in subsequent works I offer the solution.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
