Loch Achtriochtan is a large lake in the heart of Glencoe in Scotland, Britain's most famous valley. The clouds, the mountains and the flow of the lake all lead in one direction. That attracted me to this image. I love the rugged Scottish landscape immensely. The high mountains always give me a sense of security and there is always something new to see. I tried to capture that universal feeling, the age-old beauty of this landscape and nature in this image. The wide-angle lens I used for this purpose emphasises the grandeur of this mountainous landscape.
In terms of colour scheme, this picture would fit very nicely on an otherwise blank wall. The interior can be modern or natural in some cooler colours Blue, green or grey, but also on an all-white or black wall and of course a wall with wood, stone or concrete print.
A real eye-catcher to look at for hours!
