"The line pattern of a Dandelion in light pastel colours" is a macro photo of a completely opened fluffy bulb of a Dandelion.
Because the background of this photo is almost the same colour as the fluffy bulb (the background is slightly lighter) This makes the bulb and the background almost seem to merge into one another. This gives a calmness and a sense of minimalism.
When taking this photo, I chose not to place the fluffy bulb in the centre, but rather but the right side of the image. By dropping the flower not quite exactly in the middle, but only about 1/3, I feel it creates an exciting image that feels somewhat nice in terms of its cut-off from the subject.
If you zoom in on the photo, you can see nicely how the sharpness lies in dir work. When setting up my camera, I chose a small depth of field that lies on the front fluff. The further back you look, the more the fluff fades into the background.
This picture could hang beautifully in the living room, hallway or in the bedroom above the bed, for example!
