About "The longing of the butterfly"

About the artwork

On a summer's night, the sky opens up into a stage on which nature puts on its most vivid spectacle. Under a deep blue, almost mystical sky, interwoven with the gentle embrace of the moonlight, a sea of flowers blooms, rich in colour and form. The flowers in sunny shades of yellow, deep red and delicate white are as if painted, each one a small work of art in its own right that seems to sway gently in the summer breeze.

But I, the butterfly that normally flies during the day, feel a strong longing to get to know the moon and dance in its light. This passion drives me into the darkness of the night.

As the stars light up the sky and the moon spreads its silvery glow, I am very close to it. It's a brave adventure for a butterfly like me, but curiosity drives me on.

As I dance in the moonlight, I feel its rays fall on the flowers and bathe them in a magical glow. It's as if the moon and the flowers are talking to each other as I float between them.

The moon tells me the stories of the stars and the secrets of the universe, and the flowers radiate a special magic in its presence. This is a feast for the senses, in which the beauty of a summer night, the moon and the flowers unite in all their splendour.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
